What happened
They take your money.
Then they vanish.
Divinetech Interior poses as a legitimate interior design firm, presenting attractive portfolios, promising quality work, and quoting competitive prices. Once a client pays the advance — they go completely silent. Calls go unanswered. Messages are ignored. The work never begins.
Step 1
They approach with a polished pitch
Impressive portfolio, smooth talking, competitive quotes. Everything looks professional and legitimate.
Step 2
They ask for advance payment
Typically 30–50% upfront, claiming it’s for materials and booking confirmation. Urgency is created to pressure quick payment.
Step 3 — The Scam
They disappear completely
No work starts. Phone switched off. WhatsApp blocked. Office unreachable. Your money is gone with no recourse offered.
How to protect yourself

- Portfolio images that cannot be verified or traced to real completed projects
- Refuses to provide a written contract with clear milestones and payment schedule
- Asks for cash or personal UPI transfer with no official receipt or invoice
- Phone number changes frequently or becomes unreachable after payment is made

I paid ₹85,000 as advance for my 2BHK interior. They gave me a beautiful 3D design and promised work would start within a week. After that — nothing. Number switched off. I filed a police complaint but haven’t recovered a single rupee.
